Information Communication Technology

Westminster believes that ICT is a powerful tool to enhance learning, and to assist communication within the School. The IT Department provides basic skills training to all pupils upon their arrival. ICT is regularly used in all subjects at all levels, and this is where ICT skills are developed further.

Dedicated support staff, based in Ashburnham House, are available throughout the day to provide pupils with any help necessary, and to ensure the systems run smoothly.

The IT Department also offers a range of optional advanced computing courses. Pupils regularly compete very sucessfully in the British Informatics Olympiad.
