Facilities

The library’s website with its online catalogue and links to subscription research services acts as a starting point for the investigation of core studies and can be accessed outside library opening hours. A wide selection of periodicals and the broadly based stock selection policy give opportunities to further explore areas beyond the curriculum. The practice of reading for pleasure, particularly fiction, is encouraged through regular promotional displays.

There are facilities for students to use their own computers in addition to the provision of desk computers and laptops within the library – all are networked. A large and growing collection of audio-visual material can be borrowed or consulted on-site.

Exhibitions

Carleton galleryThe Carleton gallery exhibits the work of students and other artists and is home to the collection of printed art material. Exhibitions of the School’s Archives are regularly assembled in order to reveal aspects of the School’s past.
