Music holds a central place in the cultural life of Westminster,
and the School’s musical tradition encompasses such names
as Henry Purcell in the past to Roger
Norrington, Ian Bostridge, Andrew
Lloyd Webber of the present.
The main recital room is named after another Old Westminster,
Sir Adrian Boult. Many other talented Old Westminster
musicians, composers and producers are working in opera, classical
and choral music, jazz, rock and pop including the pop artist
