Entry at 16+

16+ entry is open to girls and boys and is based on competitive examinations that take place in the November prior to entry. There are boarding places available for both girls and boys. For more information refer to The Entry Process.

Most pupils in the Sixth Form (Years 12 and 13) prepare for 4 A-level or Pre-U examinations. In addition, for pupils in Year 12 there is an Options programme, i.e. courses that do not lead to examinations but which give greater breadth to the curriculum. Sixth Form pupils also participate in sport, drama and music.

Informed decisions

During all stages of decisions making, plenty of advice is on offer from teachers, Housemasters and Tutors who will discuss matters with pupils and parents.

John Locke Society

The John Locke Society hosts weekly lectures for the entire Upper School. Boys and girls attend talks by visiting speakers such as politicians, journalists, authors and sports personalities.

School fees

Please refer to the latest list of fees.
There are three terms per academic year.

Bursaries
