Studying at Westminster

A look at the brief history of Westminster provides an overview of how the School has evolved through the centuries. The School has been responsible for educating some famous pupils who have progressed to become actors, musicians, authors and politicians.

For prospective pupils, a Day in the Life captures snapshots of a busy timetable from three different perspectives to provide an essence of what is it really like as a day pupil or boarder.

A popular misconception is that Westminster is not ‘sporty’. The School has enjoyed considerable sporting success in recent years, particularly in water, fencing, football and cricket.

Sport is taken seriously at Westminster, but its seriousness has at all times to be balanced with academic aspirations as well as Art, Drama and Music.
