A series of youth hostels offering excellent value accommodation across the city. Some hostels are more basic than others. Central locations include Oxford St (two tube stops), London Central (short walk to Oxford Circus & two stops away), St Paul’s (short walk to Mansion House and tube) and St Pancras (several stops on the Victoria line).

Both the Victoria and Jubilee lines are fast lines, so staying further out of the city centre but close to stations on these lines is a good option.

The Victoria area has a wide selection of restaurants (quick and cheap options include Leon, Franco Manca and Benugo), and Cardinal Place is a shopping area off Victoria Street, near Victoria Station, with a number of chain restaurants located there (e.g. Zizzi, Iberica, Wagamama, Nando’s).
