The IT Team at Westminster is integral to school life. The team works across the site to ensure that IT operations run smoothly and securely. This is a particularly exciting time to be joining Westminster as we embark on the delivery of a new building at Chapter House in Vincent Square, as part of the expansion to include our new Pre-prep at Westminster Under School and plan to be fully co-ed across both Westminster Under School and Westminster School by 2030. The IT will support the rollout of iPad controls and other processes during this period.

The role
We are looking for an experienced IT Operations Manager for a 12 month fixed-term contract. They will manage the IT team and oversee operational IT service delivery, prioritising support requests and ongoing tasks. The role is to provide support to allow the Deputy Director of IT to focus on mission critical projects during this focused documentation period.

This is a hands-on management role within a busy educational environment. The successful applicant will combine technical acumen with strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills. The ideal candidate will have in-depth experience of managing and leading an IT support or operations team within a complex environment.

The salary is £65,000 to £70,000 per annum, depending on experience.
