The role
Westminster School is looking for two invigilators to provide support for the upcoming exam season. Main responsibilities include ensuring that all regulatory requirements for the conduct of examinations are adhered to, preparing exam rooms, and overseeing the security and integrity of examinations. They distribute and collect papers and exam materials, monitor attendance, and deal with emergencies such as illness or evacuations. Invigilators are also expected to report any irregularities or malpractice to the examinations officer, providing a written report if required.

Candidates will ideally have experience of invigilation in an educational environment, and managing pupil behaviour. The successful applicants will be highly organised with meticulous attention to detail. They will be excellent communicators who remain calm under pressure, and who are punctual, adaptable and approachable. Having the ability to work as part of a team of invigilators is integral to this role.
