The traditional Cross Country relay race was won by over four minutes by the team in orange.

At the race on Wimbledon Common in March, dozens of competitors from all 11 school houses lined-up to take on the challenging course in the long-standing inter-house competition named after the running that took place on Bringsty Common, Worcestershire, when the School was evacuated to the Midlands during the Second World War.

In the junior category it was Hakluyt’s who ran away with it, posting three of the fastest five times over the course, including a time of 06:45 for Ishaan (Fifth Form). In the senior girls category, a run of 08:23 by Emily (Sixth Form, DD) was the fastest by 20 seconds, but Liddell’s were able to take that category win. In the senior boys, a first and second place for Rigaud’s, including the fastest time of the day for Louis (Remove), secured the category, as well as the overall title based on the cumulative times from all three categories.
