Westminster School is a busy and vibrant place to work. There is a real sense of community here as, being a boarding school, many members of staff and pupils live on site and the School’s premises are very much treated as a home away from home. Support staff as much as teaching staff are encouraged to embrace the School’s day-to-day activities, whether that be attending an evening concert or a morning service in the Abbey.

The role
Westminster is looking for a cleaner to work on a part-time basis during term time, to complete cleaning tasks and schedules as directed by the Head of Housekeeping or Supervisor. They will act in the interest of their own safety and the safety of others, ensuring that legal and school requirements are adhered to in respect of Health and Safety at work.

The ideal candidate will display an understanding of Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Regulations (COSHH) and awareness of Safeguarding and child protection within a school environment. They will be a good time-keeper with excellent communication skills and a helpful and positive approach to work.
