Westminster is looking to recruit an experienced Fee Billing and Sales Ledger Officer, to be responsible for the School’s accounts receivable function. The role sits within Westminster’s Finance Department, which currently consists of eight members of staff and is lead by the Finance Bursar, who oversees the work of both the financial accounting team, managed by the Senior Financial Controller, and the Finance Planning and Analysis Manager.

The role
The role of the Fee Billing and Sales Ledger Officer will be to prepare termly fee bills for the School, identifying overdue accounts and ensuring that school policy and terms for the collection of accounts receivable are followed in a timely manner. The successful candidate will expected to respond to parent and staff queries about fee-related matters by telephone, email or in person in a helpful, supportive and proactive manner.

The ideal applicant will need experience of working in a finance and accounting role, with knowledge of fee billing and cash collection. In addition, they will have excellent problem-solving skills and a willingness to work both independently and collaboratively, as part of a team. They will also need to display impeccable interpersonal communication skills and show a high degree of accuracy in their work, with great attention to detail.
