The Head Master’s office is at the centre of Westminster’s large and diverse community, with oversight of all aspects of school life. It is a small and supportive environment in which to work, and one where collaboration with all other departments and individuals is key.

The role
We are looking for an Office Assistant to provide efficient and effective secretarial and administrative support to the Executive Assistant to the Head Master, to better enable their role in supporting all aspects of the Head Master’s time. They will be a secondary point of contact for all things in the Head Master’s Office, being primarily responsible for the organisation of teacher cover and providing significant support to the registration team in ascertaining pupil whereabouts, in line with safeguarding protocols.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in an administrative or office-based role. Excellent organisational skills are essential for this role, as is the ability to communicate clearly and calmly, in person, on the telephone and via email. The successful applicant will be IT literate, and will be able to plan and prioritise their workload effectively.

The role is full-time, and term-time only. The salary is £25,441.10 (actual), based on a full-time equivalent of £33,000 per annum.
