The most recently founded house is situated at Number 5a Dean’s Yard, next door to Ashburnham. The house takes its name from A A Milne, the famed writer responsible for the much loved Winnie-the-Pooh stories, who attended Westminster in the late 19th century. His generous legacy (a share of royalties from the Pooh fund) has enabled the School to grow over the past twenty years, by acquiring new buildings in the local area. The house colours are a slightly Disneyfied take on Pooh himself – but as Disney’s purchase of the Pooh copyrights was much to the School’s advantage, suitably so.

"Milne’s is a friendly house, tucked into our own little corner of Dean’s Yard beside our friends in Ashburnham, with whom we share some facilities. The pupils cherish the strong sense of community here – helped along, of course, by our weekly snacks and a generous supply of chocolate. We enjoy taking part in a wide range of sports events and competitions, we took home the trophy for this year’s Junior House Football. We’re also impressively good at catching pancakes, having won both the boys’ and girls’ Greaze in recent years (a longstanding School tradition in which the head chef throws a pancake over a high bar and pupils scrum for the largest piece). Our values of kindness, punctuality, and respect underpin everything we do, and the pupils work hard to bring these qualities into their day-to-day. We place particular emphasis on the importance of good communication, which shapes how we support one another. Honey is our guiding metaphor – representing warmth, generosity, and the pursuit of happiness – and it captures the spirit of the house well. Life at Milne’s is lively and creative: we host pizza nights, and our house concert is a particular highlight of the year, with every pupil joining in our house song. These have included playful twists on classics such as Orange Submarine and Coldplay’s Yellow turned Orange (to echo the colour of the house t-shirts), and Sweet Caroline, harking back to our love of all things sweet. We celebrate birthdays with cakes, and our September Saturday stall is filled with baked treats and artwork inspired by Winnie the Pooh. "
