Elizabethan Club Dinner

This year’s Guest Speaker is Archie Hall (CC, 2011-16). Archie writes for The Economist with a focus on the American economy, covering macroeconomic trends, monetary and fiscal policy, and financial markets. He is currently acting Economics Editor, running the paper’s economics coverage and writing leaders (editorials). He joined in 2024 to cover the British economy, having previously worked as a macro investor at Bridgewater Associates and at the Financial Times. We are very much looking forward to hearing Archie speak.

The Dinner is open to both OWW and their guests, so please do feel welcome to book a place for a plus one to join you. From 10pm we will host the after party at the nearby Hedgerow Bar, where drinks will be provided until late.

The Elizabethan Club AGM will be held at 6.45pm in Boult prior to the drinks reception at 7.00pm, and all Old Westminsters are encouraged to attend. Those who cannot attend the dinner but would still like to attend the AGM will be able to do so via Zoom (details to be circulated closer to the time).
