Title
The Wallace Collection Art Tour (2.15pm)
Details

Described by The Guardian as ‘one of the sexiest collections in Europe’ The Wallace Collection does not disappoint. Housed at Hertford House, home to the former Sir Richard and Lady Wallace, this is one of the most significant collections of fine and decorative arts in the world. On this tour, you will walk amongst Titian, Velázquez, Rubens and Boucher, as well as Fragonard, Canaletto, Hals and Vigée Lebrun. We will concentrate on paintings specifically, but you will also see much more in this sumptuous interior.

Speaker
This tour will be guided by Dr Jacqueline Cockburn, who works in London as a free-lance lecturer. She lectures with a number of organisations including the V & A, The Royal Academy, The London Art History Society and is accredited by The Arts Society, working all over the world for them, delivering lectures on a variety of art historical topics. Jacqueline was Head of Art History at Westminster. She is the director of Art and Culture Andalucia, running trips to Spain, Italy, France and Morocco.
